I applied for a mortgage with Mashreq Bank and their representative assured me (via broker) my case looked good. They asked me to pay AED 1,050 as a processing fee, which I paid. Now it has been 4 months and my application is still “under review.” They keep asking the same questions and documents again and again, with no progress and now no response at all. This is a complete scam. They happily take your money and then disappear. Very disappointing experience and this is not a serious bank

App is good but the customer care is very poor.At the time opening the account one of the person was contact me and offering a special offer for me as a new account like offering free insuranace coverage.but the next month the amount of the insurance deducted in my account.number of time i tried to connect the customer care,but i cant connected him.now i had a huge burden in that issue.

I just need to say the worst customer service I have ever seen. There is no easy way to contact them if you're having any issue with your account and usually you'll be having issues but no solution. On the name of customer service they have a chat bot who's only job is to say "what else I can help ypu with?" to all your queries, like seriously?
