Match Land is a fun, quick-thinking match 3 game where you battle little monsters for coins and characters. there's enough gameplay to keep you entertained but the game does gain significant difficult if you do not spend real money to purchase gems. I noticed this fairly quickly after playing the game for several days and making it to the second board level. I've been stuck with the same characters for days, with no sight of a new character anytime soon.

loved this game, I got super far into it and even sank some money into it, but then one day it refused to load, closed it fully, still didn't load, deleted it and re-download and still wouldn't start, I recently tried to re-download it again and had lost all my data (sad but expected) played for a good hour, and then went to bed, then again today it refused to start, just a black screen, and sometimes the developer intro then nothing. I'm upset, I loved this game, and now I can't even play it.

Not entirely pay to win but it leans heavily in that direction. Once you get to a certain level it's impossible to move forward without upgrades and you have the choice of either paying a crazy amount of money for gems (like $20 for a useful amount) or grind until you can upgrade. This is more of an "idle" game rather than "puzzle rpg" because there's a lot of waiting. If the gems were reasonable then I would likely buy some but I'm not dropping $20 to upgrade 1 or 2 characters in a mobile game.
