An absolute pleasure to play, and so so gorgeous! I really cannot overstate how intriguing the visuals were! The puzzles are fairly easy once you get the idea, but the story and art kept me super engaged and im looking forward to forgetting everything so I can replay it with fresh eyes!! Honestly wish I could pay more for this. Also, definitely recommend not using translation or the notebook past initial entry as a way to make it a bit more difficult if its going a bit fast for your liking!!

Stunning aesthetics, and an excellent puzzle type game based around linguistics. Clicking the tiny triggers is a bit frustrating, especially in the start of level 4, but the save mechanics are great if you mess up on something time related. It's free-world-ish, but if you're going around "talking" to everyone before you try to figure out the meaning of their words, you are going to have a bad time. The first thing I remember being super helpful was the kid on level 1 playing w/me. Enjoy!

Genuinely one of the best games of any genre that I have played in a very long time. A linguistic puzzle mechanism perfectly calibrated to tickle a word-nerd's brain, which manages to remain challenging throughout without ever getting too frustrating, an interesting and subtle story that unfolds slowly and doesn't give away the ending, and beautiful visuals to top it off. If it was twenty times as long I would still play it start to finish. THIS is how you make a mobile game. Worth every penny.
