This game is wildly addictive. it's literally like a time warp. I can start playing and look up and it's 90 minutes later. it didn't take long to pick it up, and the knowledge you gain builds on each subsequent run. it's a constant learning curve and each run is a little longer with your new knowledge.

Unique and challenging, a slow burn of mystery, occultism, and uncovering the path to ascension. Runs can take dozens of hours, but it's seamless to put down and pick back up again. As the game advertises, a big part of the appeal is experimenting and figuring out how things work together. It's like moving to a new town and learning how to get around until it seems more obvious. There's also the wiki to consult for directions when stuck, and a brief guide hidden in the in-game menu.

PLAY AT YOUR OWN RISK I'm honest to god so hooked on this game. I got it for Steam first and decided that I also had to play on the go, so I purchased the mobile version. Heads up, there's no tutorial so you have to do a lot of trial and error, but once you get the basics figured out you're good. Highly recommend for anyone who likes a good mental challenge. If I HAD to make a complaint it's that I couldn't get the definitive edition on mobile, so I have to buy the DLCs separately.
