Until recently, this was a "go to" app - if not my first pick for DLNA (running directly to a Sony Blu-ray Streaming Player/DLNA. Very reminiscent of how this app started off ~ and why I once seldom attempted to use it. Yet, improved so vastly - that - I purchased it, twice (m.i.a. due to 'purchased with an account that was lost but since recovered.) New Android last chance for this one.

Skip the other apps, because this one works! I tried four apps that had different names, but looked exactly the same once I opened them. They didn't do anything except change the channel on my TV. I have a Roku TV and so I had to install a streaming "channel" called Xcast to my TV in order for this app to connect my TV. But, it only took about thirty seconds and then I could connect. I only used the free features, but there are paid premium features as well.

I would give it 5 stars...but simple "quality of life" adjustments are missing. For example, the directories is ALL of the way at the bottom of all of the videos. I already have my videos organized so I don't want to have to scroll down to the bottom...why not have that on the main menu or at least at the top!? Secondly, you can't view in landscape... It might not seem like a big deal, but I have seasons of TV shows and I can't see the episode number when I'm viewing in landscape. So I'm left to guessing and tapping.... It would be so much easier to have some easy to view the entire name if the file BEFORE it begins to launch.
