About this game

Thronefall - a critically acclaimed and award winning PC game! Metacritics: 92%. Steam: Overwhelmingly Positive, 96%.

Saddle the horses! See your kingdom come to life, fight gripping battles to defend it and still be done in time for lunch.

With Thronefall we tried to strip a classic strategy game from all unnecessary complexity, combining it with a healthy amount of hack and slay. Build up your base during the day, defend it til your last breath at night.

Will you be able to strike the right balance between economy and defense? Do you need more archers, thicker walls or an additional mill? Will you keep the enemies at bay with your longbow or charge your horse right into them? It's going to be a tough night, but nothing beats seeing the sun rise above your little kingdom to live another day.

Not what I was expecting. I thought this was a castle building game. It is, but only a few levels, and it's temporary. You build a castle, some houses, a barracks here, an archery range there, walls, defensive towers, and other stuff. Then, you upgrade them, while completing quests, and defending your little area. You don't actually go anywhere to accomplish the quests. Once you make it through a certain amount of days and nights in the game, you're done. You move to a new area and start over.

Fantastic game WOW! I went and bought it on my computer too, then on my Switch. I can play it anywhere lol. It's very much an RTS but with the focus being base defense. So think Tower Defense but you control your army to defend and each round you upgrade your base. It's challenging but never feels unfair. If you lose it's because of your choices not the game being bad.

This is what Kingshot was trying to be in their ads. Thronefall is an awesome game, exactly as advertised. One of the few actual games on Google Play. Pay once, play forever without incentive to make any other purchase. There's "mutations" in the game you can select that remind me of skulls in Halo, except you get more XP and upgrade progress when you activate them. So far there's lots of room for progress in the game, I don't feel there's a close ceiling of progress. Having lots of fun! 😍
