Dungeon Warfare 2 is the definitive sequel to Dungeon Warfare, a challenging tower defense strategy game where you become a dungeon lord to defend your dungeons with the deadliest of traps and insidious contraptions against greedy adventurers and wannabe heroes.

A unique Tower Defense where stationary traps like pushing walls, harpoon launchers, and floor spikes are your primary form of defense. Has a leveling/skills system that can overcharge the effectiveness of your traps, and points can be redistributed at will so you can totally respec for each map if you want. Later progression becomes a little tedious, as the easiest way to brute-force later maps is to repeatedly grind earlier ones for XP.

Overall, it's a good TD. I have played a lot of them, traps are similar to Orcs Must Die to give an example. The item interface looks like it was inspired right out of Path of Exile. The lack of ads is always nice in this platform, especially for TD. I don't like finishing maps out with any life lost, so it was nice having a rune that gave me 1 life.

Great game! I was hooked until the very end. I just wish that the high level mobs were more varied. After a certain level, you have to completely change I or strategy just for the battering rams. They're a pain and not fun to play against, I had to come up with a method to cheese them and only them just to beat the game. Everything else is fun and tests your skill, so I gave this game a 5 rating. Please please please lower the hit points on the battering teams, they're such a PITA!
