The game on PC is fun enough. I do enjoy the combat and the unit variety. Mobile works well enough, but definitely harder imo to control and eats through my battery. Biggest complaint is energy and in-game currency. Once I ran out of the initial energy boosters, the game has become an absolute SLOG. You have an operator, a gun, or neuroptics to grind, which also require currency. You have enough energy to get through a few levels of ONE of those. Also need energy for story.

By far the best gacha I've played. The characters actually feel connected to the main character (you) and very genuine. It also seems like the developers listen to a lot of the player feedback and try to implement what people want. The game itself is a bit expensive though but that is the nature of the beast I guess. Although it doesn't feel like you have to spend money in this game. skins are optional and the game has decent luck chances and even provides a lot of free, top-tier operatives.

So about a week in and I can say that I continue to be intrigued. The gameplay itself is fairly easy, just the right amount of complexity for mobile though the auto camera sometimes gets wonky for me. Most importantly they are doing the one thing I have begged for from other games: guaranteed 5* rate ups. If I'm playing for the characters (and boy howdy am I playing for the characters) then I don't mind some gacha so long as there is a clear and achievable pity system, I approve this heartily.
