This is a good app. I think it could be better adapted for gym/workout beginners. Beginners don't know the name of all the various resistance exercises, but they do know what part of the body they want to work on. I suggest that the search feature allows you to search by body part or muscle groups and then offers the user all the possible exercises and equipment to use. Maybe list the results in order of most recommended. Also make it obvious which are compound or isolation exercises.

First impressions, may update later... Was hoping it would be as smooth as their nutrition app. UI has a learning curve. Workouts are less seamless than before. Hopefully this will improve as i get more familiar. The positives are how it tracks everything and recommends exercises and progressions from session to session and week to week, as well as the multiple angles for each exercise. Nearly everything is customizable (which may be considered a negative if you're looking for simplicity)

Setup was easy, and I loved being able to choose which equipment you have access to, to tailor your workouts. I can't wait to see all the data once I get a few months of workouts in. I was in the middle of doing another program by Jeff, so I wish he had those integrated, but I was too excited to start using the features this app offers. 2 small issues- my timer didn't sound, and I wasn't able to choose my barbell when it auto-calculated my plates (I have 35 and 45, it defaulted to 45lbs). LOVEIT
