Considerably better than the original yet at the cost of the first game. As much as I love this one, I hate it after how the devs left behind the first obey me. Finishing the story is difficult, same as the first game but a tad easier. I foresee a similar situation as the first game where story becomes so hard to progress that there's no point in trying anymore. The f2p experience isn't the worst, but still not the best. Getting a card you want is quite difficult, hope you get lucky or pay up.

Thank you for playing the original game as well as Obey Me! Nightbringer. We hope for your continued support of Obey Me! Nightbringer.

They took the base game and improved on just about every aspect. Story is better paced (you don't have to read the first one to get into this one) the rhythm games are enjoyable, it's much easier to get rewards and upgrade cards. A lot of assets from the base game are included here, but they made improvements on how they're used. My biggest complaint is there isn't a way to share the gacha cards from the base game to this expansion, so you start from scratch when you first download

The best Obey Me game in the series, imho! The rhythm games are fun, the music is catchy, the stories are also fun and funny with a satisfactory level of romance, although I do wish there were more sound effects other than a single smack of a kiss. I can see the gacha pulls being frustrating for free players, as even VIP members will eventually struggle to fully level up their 5* cards around level 70. There should be another way to collect UR/+ joker cards other than pulling duplicates.
