The good: easy to buy and use tickets. Easy to find next train (except it gets confused if a train is boarding). When you enter the beginning of a station name, it pares down the long list of stations to match what you've typed so far. The Departure Vision feature is very useful, but it doesn't update when trains are running late.

I'll throw in 3 1/2☆. NJT's app has it uses, but it's limited. & Unless I missed something I didn't see where 1 can purchase monthly bus cards. You really might be better off getting the Transit app here on Playstore. It tells you when your bus/train will be arriving or a good approximation, plus upcoming rides. There's a paid version of the app where the arrival times are even more accurate, but the free version is good.

I'm only giving it low rating because it used to work, but not with new updates (New Phone + OS). As soon as I opened the app after installing, I'm hit with a prompt telling me to "enable automatic date and time in my device settings." Yet, it's already on, usually by default. So I can't even use the app because it won't go past that and it's not navigating me to enable any app-specific settings automatically (like most other apps) during set up.
