I tried the Reels app hoping it would help with creating content, but overall I found it pretty disappointing. While there are a few decent effects, most of the stock videos included in the app can’t actually be used, which makes a lot of the library pointless. There’s also no proper free trial, so you’re essentially paying before you really know what you’re getting. For the price they charge, the features just don’t justify the cost. There are much better apps out there that offer more usable

The app is amazing, but offering a few free templates with ads or watermarks would make it more appealing. The fully paid version may deter users, so providing a free version could increase the app's reach and popularity!! This is my opinion!!

ReelsApp already has free templates — they are marked with Instagram, TikTok, or FREE icons. You can use them without a subscription.

I cancelled my subscription while I still had more than 4 months left on the current sub. The app doesn't let me make reels until the end of the current subscription, even though it accurately states when the subscription will end
