Great start, but turns into a painful slog of a game. I'm truly surprised I made it to the third job, and sad I'll never see the 4th. After 12 hours of being afk, and having the afk bonus active (that you have to pay for) I'm still only getting maybe 20% exp into a level. All the quests are a repeat of what you've already done 1000x. The drop rates on the gacha are abysmal, and not only is the premium shop expensive, but the value per purchase is simply not there.

Game has potential, but gameplay itself ends up being very linear, too rng-based and is very predatory with how much it wants to get into your wallet. Almost like regular MapleStory. You can play f2p, but the per week limits on cubes, artifact boxes etc. the stuff that could give you huge boosts, are very low. Then again this was made by the same company who got fined for fudging rates. That said, seeing this game makes me believe an offline Maplestory game for sale is possible and would rock!

-Edit (2 star to 1) The game was nice and a nostalgic trip, the progression was fair up to level 60+. The game was fun but the wall at lvl 80+ is unbearable and I lost interest. The game switched from fun to a chore or pay to proceed. Do the daily 8 missions in 2 minutes, then stare at a wall because monsters spike and your equips fall behind FAST while resources are rare to even upgrade. Rates on weapon/companion summoning becomes a lottery. Obtaining tickets are slowed and rates become <0.05%
