The app has gotten worse over the last year or so. Recently I tried to remotely access my R7000 router to reboot it, but it looks like it's no longer an option. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app, but now it keeps saying something went wrong with logging in. Now I can't use the app at all. I reset my password, just in case. Newp...not the issue. Firmware is up to date. If remote access is a necessity, I suggest looking at other manufacturers. Logging in remotely via web browser is gone too...

The jury is still partly out on the Nighthawk app. But my initial review isn't good. I just finished setting up a mesh system, and the app has been buggy and fiddly as hell. Several times it told me the router wasn't compatible with the app. If you take more than 60 seconds on a task, a contact support pop-up appears. God forbid you have any other apps open or attempt to switch between them. At the moment, I hope I don't have to use this app often.

The app consistently asks me to sign in. When I try to sign into my account it loads for 5 minutes and then gives me a white screen with an arrow to go back. I cant sign into the router at all. The router is amazing. The app is not so amazing. Edit: The app has gotten much worse. I can no longer do anything through the app. It doesn't allow me to even update the firmware. I can't recommend this.
