Fun to play a game from the past (somewhat, 2 is something I didn't know existed) but it's still basically the same as the first. the newer stuff is paywalled so you get the original content of 1 for free with slightly updated graphics but have to pay for the content of 2, which is just the general mode and while you can fight against one of them, it doesn't really drive you to want to shell out money for the rest because you play against the easiest of them all.

This game is fun to play every now and then. My problem with the game is that the ai from normal onwards is unbalanced, the ai on normal evolves faster than you, throws way to many god spells, the enemies are too strong, and the ai sends large swarms of enemies to your base, making it hard to fight them off. Another problem is that there is only 2 gamemodes, why not another? It's also sad that there is only 4 unit types, all countering each other in their own way. Overall, this game is great.

Flash games were the original shovelware. So much of it was garbage, and this, while not the best quality, was very fun. Still fun today. I don't mind giving $6 to the creators 10 years later (don't actually remember how long it's been) after playing it for free for many hours after school. I only wish it were more difficult. They very easy strategy is to let them build up a line of units, march up to your base, and spam range. That way, all of your range (all 10ish) are firing at the same time. Doing massive damage. Good 2 hour time waster to do the campaigns. Music is great
