It works great if whatever you're looking for is no more than 30ft from you. Otherwise it's worthless. Didn't join the hub network. Not interested in the idea of everyone else tracking my sh_t. In conclusion it works great for misplaced keys, etc.. If they are close enough to hear the sound. No maps after initial setup. I guess I'm being punished for not joining their network. Unless you want to broadcast your devices to everyone. This is pretty much useless.

Automatically adds my device and takes its location, won't let me delete the data it's collected, makes me install the app to even turn the active data collection off - I don't want Google TRACKING my phone! I don't want anyone anywhere to have that information, stop collecting it, I don't want it in your app or in your databases or anywhere! This should be an opt-in feature, not an opt-out feature, and I shouldn't have to download an app to control it.

This should be way more advanced and useful than it actually is. Come on, Google! 1. It should give different ways to see how close you are to object. Filling a shape with a blob? How about showing us what direction to go in? Giving estimated feet away from the object! An actual live real-time meter showing how hot/cold, near/far you are! The Blob is confusing. 2. LOCATION HISTORY! Please enable some way to get location history of objects. Pings at intervals maybe? 3. PET TRACKING category!!!!

What’s new

We've resolved an issue where Precision Finding wasn't working correctly on certain Android devices.

In addition to finding lost devices and items, you can now stay connected to the people who matter to you. You can share your live location to coordinate a meetup with a friend or check that a family member got home safe—all in one app.
