Love everything about this app (especially the fact that you can add tasks along with subtasks to the timeline), but I don't know why adding a new note looks exactly the same as adding a new task. I'd like a notes section that functions similarly to Notion without the extra stuff. So different types of lists, bold, highlight, underline and italics.

UPDATE: Lies. You put a free trial behind the paywall. You have to subscribe in order to get a "free trial." In other words: You don't pay for it until the trial ends. The developers are a bunch of greedy liars. Before the update, you didn't need a "subscription" in order to use the trial. You were never charged at first hand, so when the trial ends, nothing happens but all premium features requiring money. I prefer using Journal it as a timeline app instead of this piece of garbage app.

Thanks for your feedback. We have updated the free trial system. You can get a free trial with the annual subscription. We have made sure that existing trials are not affected. With the new system , one person can get free trial only once. Taskito is free for day to day use. Power features require premium - 3+ projects, web app, 3+ repeating tasks.

Seemed great at first but cannot dismiss the 1 new notification on the app itself, no matter what, it constantly has a bright orange 1 on it, and keeps cluttering up my notification bar with 'before you start the day!' which you can't dismiss for some reason without editing notification preferences. This is the only app I've used like this. Haven't gotten a chance to even use it and I'm already irritated by it. I'm uninstalling. It could be useful but I'm not inclined to try.

You can remove this reminder from Reminders section. Go to Workspace tab > Reminders. You can disable the reminder from there.
And the notification should have a dismiss button that you can use dismiss it.
