Unable to connect. When we first had our Ecobee thermostat installed, everything worked properly with the app. It was great to be able to change the thermostat when we were away from home. I'm not sure what has changed over the last few months, but the app cannot connect. I've uninstalled and reinstalled on several occasions. Still no luck. Hoping they can get the issue solved, soon. I miss the functions I had when the app worked properly.

Inexcusable. Why do I need an account? I paid for the box. It's bad enough I need an app. Oh, but I guess I can forget my password and not be able to control my thermostat. It's horrible, the product can't recover from being awful at a +fundamental+ level. I'm only using it because I can't actually use the whole system without the app and an account with a privacy policy. It doesn't deserve one star, but that's the worst thing I can give it.

Good app, pretty easy to use. Not too crazy about the schedule, set it and forget it type thing. Never know what the next day will be, if its really cold while I'm gone, do I really want the heat working hard while nobody is home? No. Had my first problem with the app even starting tonight, but I think that might have had something to do with Spectrum internet doing routine maintenance and dropping my Wi-Fi and internet connections. Its working fine after a reset.

The new ecobee Home Screen widget lets you view your thermostat details at a glance. This version also brings many bug fixes and improvements to your ecobee experience.
