Perplexity claims fresh web search each time, but it gives you the first possible answer it finds & takes no time to actually verify. Worthless for shopping assistance. Gives outdated prices. Has a model picker, but every time I've picked a model there's been a message at the end of the output saying it chose a model automatically because the one I selected was "inapplicable or unavailable." Don't waste your money. ChatGPT is 1,000 times better.

Absolutely phenomenal so far! Edit: Okay, there are definitely a few things to add or improve upon. But I have faith it will eventually be the best. 1. Obviously downloads are a thing. 2. Cannot auto fill natively but has to use another system, only seems to work with Google auto fill within the browser. 3. Cannot upload or view html files that I create within the Perplexity app in the browser 4. syncing is also a thing. Good luck guys! I'm sure Perplexity can help you figure out a fix 😬

Good, fast browser and love the AI features. But if Perplexity wants to enter this space, they need to take it up a notch. Example, it will be impossible for me to switch to this browser without the ability to sync between platforms (extensions, history, bookmarks, etc). One of many features before this becomes a serious browser that's compelling to switch to.
