This game feels like a more mechanically developed prequel, with more detailed item usage and a more rewarding gameplay loop. While I do prefer the wider scope of the original game, this one is not far behind, with equally amazing music and memorable monsters. My only complaint is that there haven't been any major additions in a while, and now that the prismatics have concluded, I feel the game needs something new. I expect something is in store, however, so I am excited to see where it goes.

After playing the original Singing Monsters, and loving it, I just had to get this version. The monsters are cute and fun, the gameplay engaging, and the music fun to play with. A few things I want. Ability to transport back from islands once you've transferred them. I have monsters on Party Island but want them back to the default island. The ability to sell or store your monster. I have two of the same monster but only want one of each.

I played this game early in its life, then lost access to that device and all my progress. I'm coming back to it now as I resumed playing the other version, my singing monsters, and recalled that this was also fun to play I usually stick to word games, but these two have planning and strategy elements that I enjoy, too. I'm glad they are still available and being actively developed.
