I've been using Dropbox for 14+ years and this is the first time I have encountered such frustration. After the latest update, I was logged out of all of my devices, all my settings reverted to the defaults and I have spent way too much time resetting apps and resolving conflicted copies of synced documents. I had no notice that Dropbox had logged me out and was therefore no longer syncing critical documents. The people I collaborate with also are having issues. Unacceptable!

I am having a major issue with the Dropbox Android app. While I can log in perfectly fine on my computers, the mobile app refuses to send the 2FA security code via SMS. Even after changing my password, I keep getting the error message: 'SMS delivery is temporarily rate limited. Please try again later.' This is very frustrating because I haven't received a single SMS today, yet the app claims I've requested too many. There seems to be a bug in how the Android app handles 2FA requests compared to.

I transitioned to Dropbox while seeking a robust solution for offloading data from my external hard drives. Although initially intended as a short-term bridge, it became a long-term fixture in my workflow for several years. Dropbox served as a reliable repository, but it ultimately functioned more as a static storage locker than a dynamic workspace. For my purposes, the "vibe" and utility didn't quite scale with my operational requirements. Always room for improvement though.
