About this app

Microsoft OneDrive’s cloud storage secures photos, videos, and files to keep them protected, synced, and accessible on all your devices. The OneDrive app lets you view and securely share photos, videos, and files with friends and family. Plus, you can use the app to automatically back up your phone’s photos and videos. Start with 5 GB of free cloud storage space or upgrade to a Microsoft 365 subscription to get up to 1 TB of cloud storage.

• Browse all your OneDrive files and files shared with you.
• Automatically upload photos and videos to your personal OneDrive account using Camera backup.
• Share your files.
• Move, delete, and rename files, and create new folders.
• Open your OneDrive files in other apps, Word, Excel or PowerPoint.
• Quickly get to documents you've recently opened.
• Search for your files and folders.

Notes:
For you to sign in to OneDrive for Business, your organization needs to have a qualifying SharePoint Online or Office 365 business subscription plan. You can't sign in with an account from an on-premises directory.
Camera backup, search, sort, and the ability to add OneDrive for Business accounts are available only on devices running Android 4.0 or later.

It mostly works. If there was an alternative to backup to my OneDrive account, I'd try it immediately though. On Android, it crashes constantly and occasionally stops backing up your photos with no indication that it just isn't doing it anymore. So if you take a photo that's important to you--text it to family immediately because you can't count on the OneDrive app. Microsoft simply doesn't bother to check if features work, same as on Windows--they don't beta test or even bug test.

Love the storage, because I need so much, obviously, but the downfall is noticed is how quickly it is used up, atleast for myself. It's very inexpensive,. I appreciate the memories it reminds of, mememorable for sure. It's a great app. And is convenient if phones are misplaced or external memory is unavailable. Definitely nice safety net, just incase. Very nice.

Almost completely transparent among many devices! My wife and I share all professional and personal data, including pictures and videos, through OneDrive. We use it on three laptops, two iPads, and two Android phones, all in sync. We love it! One flaw: Outlook pop3 file can't be shared. It's an Outlook problem, but it means we can't navigate freely on emails, at least until we upgrade to an email version (costlier).
