It's hard to call this social media since the level of interaction is so minimal, but there is a lot of professional content available to consume and you can keep up with colleagues' careers, which is nice. It's pretty easy to use, as well. Some days the level of ad content in my feed is unbearable but that is not every day. On the other hand, my feed is filled with weeks-old content such as events that are already over, and also with suggested posts that are entirely irrelevant to me.

When creating posts, there is no grammar check or spellcheck. So many of my posts go unchecked and end up having to be re-edited for punctuation and spelling. There's also no way to post pictures and videos within the same post, and I find with my line of work in natural resources, this is essential to have videos as well as photos to document surveys of plants and animals.

Forces you to update by tracking if you are using an older app version and blocking you from continuing with a pop-up to update. I'm going to start giving 1 Star to every company that does this to effectively keep you from blocking auto updates on your phone settings. Forced may as well be auto you can't turn off. Seems deceptive, just tell me what you updated and let me choose when or if to install like everything used to be
